Centre of the Universe
Centre for Birding in Chiangmai Thailand
The Centre of the Universe is ideally located for bird lovers. We are 3 kilometres from Huay Tong Tao, a National Park, where over 250 bird species have been sighted around the lake and documented. Doi Suthep National Park is about 10 kilometres and Doi Inthanon is easily accessible by private car. The scenery on the way to Doi Inthanon is stunning and makes for an enjoyable day-trip.
The following 51 species of birds (and counting!) have been sighted in and around our gardens and swimming pool. If you are a birding enthusiast, stay with us and you can call upon the services of one of the leading authorities on birds in Thailand, who has lived in Chiangmai for almost 20 years researching and recording bird life within the province. Visit some lesser known sites, off the tourist trail, where you will see an abundance of bird life. Please contact us for further details at info@therealcentreoftheuniverse.com
